Asuman and Atanur Dogan are Turkish-Canadian watercolorists and sculptors, who met while studying Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir. Together they have traveled all over Turkey, studying Anatolian towns and villages. During their travels and the forging of new friendships, they developed an acute sensitivity and awareness for the character of both the villages and their inhabitants.
